Rainbow Lakes approached me with a fun challenge–to create a logo that is appropriate for a fishing lake as well as a wedding venue. The one thing weddings and fishing have in common would be a “knot” (i.e. “tying the knot” and the many physical knots associated with fishing). I brought the two ideas together by creating a “nature knot”.
